1. Client Sign-Up & Auto Entry Into Onboarding Pipeline
Steps
Client signs up for a Featured or Plus plan.
The client is automatically added to the following pipelines in the CRM:
MLB Onboarding (Featured & Plus)
MLB Active Accounts
Client is automatically added to the Google Sheet for Review Card Tracking.
Client is automatically sent:
Access to the Member Networking Portal
The Support Local Website Badge
2. Build the Business Listing, Map Entry & Promotions
Objective
Create the client’s business listing and promotional content.
Steps
Build the Business Directory Listing.
Create the Spotlight Post featuring the business.
Add the business to the Interactive Business Map.
Add any relevant business events to the Community Event Board.
Confirm the listing includes:
Business description
Featured product or service
Business photos
Contact information
Website link
Category tags
Proofread all information to ensure accuracy.
3. Send Listing & Promotion for Client Review
Objective
Allow the client to review and approve their listing and promotional post before publication.
Steps
Send the client:
The published listing link
The social media promotion post
Use the appropriate email template based on their plan.
Featured Plan Email Template
Subject: Your New Listing is Live – Welcome to the Featured Plan!

Social Media Promotion
Your plan includes a social media promotion that will be posted & boosted every three months.
This is the post we will be using for your promotion. Since this post will remain the same throughout your current plan, please review it and let us know if you'd like any edits before it goes live.

If we do not receive a response from this email before the scheduled posting date, the post will be automatically approved and published as scheduled.
If you would like to make additional changes to the post later, that would require upgrading your plan.

If you ever need updates made to your listing, simply reply to this email. We keep update requests in writing to make sure nothing gets missed.

in the MLB Onboarding (Featured & Plus) pipeline.
4. Schedule Promotional Posting
Objective
Schedule and activate the client's promotional rotation.
Steps
Once the client approves the listing and promotion:
Confirm the listing appears correctly on:
Directory page
Interactive map
Spotlight feature
Schedule the recurring promotional posts.
Mark the promotion as scheduled in the Google Sheet.
Posting Schedule
Recurring promotional posts begin before the 28th of the month.
Output
Listing is live
Promotion is scheduled
Client is added to the promotion tracking sheet
5. Complete the Onboarding Pipeline
Objective
Move the client from onboarding to the active client stage.
Steps
Mark the Onboarding Pipeline Status as Complete..
6. Send Google Review Cards (Fridays)
Objective
Help clients increase their Google reviews and reputation.
Steps
Every Friday:
Send Google Review Cards to newly onboarded clients.
Include:
Instructions for using the cards
Guidance on asking customers for reviews
